Steamed Broccoli With Cheese Recipe

Colorful, healthy, tasty and makes a meal on its own for the vegetarian eater or great to serve with fish, meal or poultry.
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 garlic cloves, Minced
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese or parmesan
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
salt and pepper
* for gluten free, always grate your own cheese, do not buy pre-packaged grated as there can be flour in them to keep the cheese seperated
Wash Broccoli, removing tough ends, and split into flowerets.
Cut pieces so they are no more than 3 inches long.
Place Broccoli into a steamer and steam approximately 10 Minutes or until it s bright green and tender crisp.
Transfer to a serving dish that is oven safe.
Heat Olive oil in a skillet, add garlic and heat through, pour mixture over broccoli.
Sprinkle with cheese, lemon juice, salt and pepper and place into the oven for about 5 minutes to melt the cheese. serve immediately.
